Frequently Asked Questions
Where do you source materials?
The fragrance materials are sourced from several reputable, professional suppliers who work with perfumers worldwide. Each material comes with industry-standard documentation including Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and IFRA certificates, which outline safety, handling, and usage guidelines. This ensures both the quality of the ingredients and their safe use in custom perfume creation. Materials are diluted with skin-safe ingredients and chosen for performance and feel.
Do I get to pick what goes into my perfume?
Yes. You’ll smell individual notes and accords, explore combinations, and build a fragrance around your preferences. I guide the process, but your instincts lead it. I do not limit the number of scents you can use.
Can you match a perfume I already love?
While I can’t do it exactly, we can certainly try! I have a large variety of scents to choose from. We can get the essence of what you love about it and recreate it in your style.
Do you sell pre-made perfumes?
I recently released a collection called Love, Me Series. It includes three scents, Honey N.O., All the Way Undone, and Both Sides Now.
Do you keep track of what we make?
Yes! Capturing your creation is a core part of the experience. As you blend, you'll be the first to record your unique recipe on a special formula card for our physical Scent Ledger.
At the end of the party, I archive a copy of your blend and rough ratios for easy retrieval in the future.
We are all about your privacy, so you can choose how much personal information to attach to your card, or we can use a custom code that keeps your blend totally anonymous but easy for you to reference later
What size perfume do I take home?
If you visit a Mod & Mix, it will be a 10ml atomizer. For workshops, it is 15ml. For different size requests, simply message me for accomodations.
Do I need an appointment?
Yes. Appointments help me prepare a curated scent tray tailored to your preferences. Reach out to schedule or inquire.
Do you travel for events or appointments?
I travel to these Orange County cities at no additional cost: Costa Mesa, Santa Ana, Irvine, Tustin, Fountain Valley, Huntington Beach, and Newport Beach. But don’t worry, I do travel further! Cities out of this range has an Extended Travel Fee.
Are your perfumes safe for sensitive skin?
All bases, oils and dilutions are selected with skin safety in mind. That being said, you know best what your allergies are. If you have allergies or sensitivities, let me know and we can patch test or adjust your blend to suit your needs. All materials can be traced back to where it was made.
